Terms and Conditions

It is important to us that we have a mutual understanding about the terms and conditions of accessing Therapy either on Zoom or Face to Face and we outline these terms and conditions below.

Confidentiality And Data Protection

Confidentiality is an integral part of therapy and is seen as essential to building the therapeutic relationship and ensuring the client’s sense of safety and trust in our services. Our therapy related services operate in a confidential way in order to encourage the client to be as open and honest as possible. During the process personal experiences and sensitive information is often disclosed. It is very important, therefore, that the client has trust in us and in our therapists and coaches and knows that anything they disclose remains confidential. The only circumstances in which confidentiality may be broken, is if there was a serious risk to the client’s life or the life of other people. There are also rare circumstances where a therapist may be required by law to disclose client information. Wherever possible, this will be discussed with the client beforehand and everything done to ensure that the client is fully aware and informed of procedures. If this is not possible the therapist will use their professional We are compliant with the current Data Protection Act 1988 and are ensuring compliancy with future new General Data Protection Regulations 2018.

Cancelled Sessions for CuraRooms

If your client cancels or misses a session with less than 48-hours notice, you will still be charged the full amount for the use of the room you have book. For cancellations made with more than 48-hours notice, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule your room book to a different time, subject to availability, however we cannot provide a refund. We will also offer you an online appointment as an alternative wherever possible Sessions can be rescheduled up to 48-hours before. But cannot be rescheduled withing 48-hours of the room booking.

Cancelled Sessions for clients booking directly with CuraMind

Clients who cancel or miss sessions within 48-hours of their appointment with be charged the full amount of their session fee by CuraMind. For cancellations made with more than 48-hours notice, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule your room book to a different time, subject to availability, however we cannot provide a refund. We will also offer you an online appointment as an alternative wherever possible.

Late Arrival or Missed Sessions by clients

Please contact customer services if you are going to be late for your session, either face to face or virtually, please contact your therapist or the CuraMind customer services team. Sessions will always finish at the designated time. If you are more than 15 minutes late and have not contacted us to tell us you will be late we will assume you are not coming and will consider that as a cancellation without the required 48-hours notice. If you have contacted us and are later than 15 minutes the session viability is at the discretion of the therapist.

Session Refusal

The therapist will not complete sessions if you show signs of being intoxicated or unable to fully engage due to substance use. They will not continue sessions if you present threatening or inappropriate behaviour. We will not refund a session cancelled due to the above. In most cases, we do not work with clients who are seeing someone from a primary mental health team. We are also unable to work with those receiving treatment from a therapist other than our own team.

Virtual Sessions

We will, where possible, make allowances for technical problems. Your therapist will contact you before the session is due to start and if you are unavailable will try again a few minutes later. If we are unable to deliver due to technical issues our end we will do our best to reschedule the session for you or continue the session via a telephone appointment.

Refund Policy

All Sales of individual therapy sessions with CuraMind therapists are final. If you cancel your session within 48 hours of your appointment you will be charged the full amount of your session fee. Sessions cancelled outside of the 48-hour notice period will be rescheduled, subject to availability.

Terms and Conditions

This waiver of liability includes any risk of attending CuraMind sessions, engaging in virtual sessions, coaching or attending any events, workshops or other services provided by the CuraMind. Please see the detail below:
